I don't usually listen to rap or hip hop. I enjoy politically motivated, passionate bands like Rage Against the Machine and Lupe Fiasco's early work before he sold out. This song is amazingly and just as profound today as it was during Vietnam. We are living in a time identical to Vietnam but the boogey man is Islamic Terrorism instead of Communism. We are losing our civil liberties faster now than any other time in American history. Wake up Americans, authoritarianism has come to America.
