This is my 10 gallon tank in my dorm room. In the tank there is 1 dwarf gourami, 2 really small convict chiclids, 2 cherry barbs, 3 tiger barbs, 2 male yellow leopard guppies, 1 female (I think it's a blonde something), and a crab. The tank has been up for about 2 weeks, and I've been cycling the fish in.

  • Lol, that crab is either going to drown or escape... they need some access to the surface for air.

  • @treemagnet88 I realized that later. I thought he was suicidal, he kept jumping out.

  • Lol... no I meant, do you break down the tank and such? or do you leave it in your dorm? I am in a dorm as well and its sort of a pain to break it all down.

  • yeah, i take out about 75% of the water. Then move the fishes in the tanks, to the new location. Drive quickly, then u'll be fine. Add new water slowly, or use the same water you took from the tank (the 75%). Re-setup the tank.

  • what do you do on spring break? and other vacations?

  • Mainly party. But I just leave them with my little bro.

  • did you film this with a moldy potatoe

  • @treemagnet88 i had a crab named spike and i gave him a plant to climb up on but unfortunatly he found my feeding hole and escaped:(

  • @spongy90 I also have a 10 gal in my dorm. I use the big freezer size zip-lock bags and fill them with water then put my fish in them then sit them in the tank which I take out most of the water but leave about 1in of water in the tank. My trip is about 3hrs and I've yet to have a problem transporting them that way.

  • @digger052 lol my crab always got up in my filter nd when i would go to change it he would always pinch my finger.

  • The crab you have should be able to out of the water or else he can drown And i would reconsider having those Convicts because of how big they'll get. And maybe a larger tank. But if you want to keep this one i'd only keep about 6 or 7 fish. srry if this is even the least bit offensive but i;m just thinking of the wellfare of your fish. :)

  • What type of stand do you have the 10 gallon on ?

  • Firstly OVERSTOCKED

You say your cycling so you should have say the 2 guppys, test water week later test water get some more fish,etc..

The crab is not a good mix it will eat other fish Cherry barbs at least a group of 6, Convicts out, and the tiger barbs fsat aggresive fish that need to be in a minimum of 8

I would get 4 more cherry barbs, 1-2 more guppys, oh wait u have to males and 1 feamle WTF is wrong with you. They will pester the female to mate and kill her.

    GET 2-3 FEMALES

  • IS YOUR TANK STILL GOING WELL? IF SO WHAT KIND OF FISH DO YOU HAVE IN IT NOW? and how on earth do you cycle a tank ?!?!?!?!?!!?!?/i just got a 10 gallon and i dont know ifmi want to cyle it with nfish nor amonia .........anyways how did you cyle your fish tank????!?!?!?!?!/
