True Panther peeps: Why is there a 15-track Japanese version and the US is only 9 tracks? It's the 21st Century, there's no reason for this "exclusive Japanese bonus tracks" crap anymore. How about an American release of the 15-track version.

@manhandle42 . absolutely. also anneli drecker and bel canto. and of course stylistically different, but a woman many credit for bringing electronic alernative into pop, the inimitable Laurie Anderson.

@manhandle42 To be fair, Ms. Mesirow doesn't come across as a blatant copy of either. On the contrary, it sounds very much like she's considers them strong influences (well, the Cocteaus at least).

A fascinating new female artist. Beats Katy bloody Perry all to hell.
