The June 2008 Puerto Rico Democratic primaries may bring light to a two year long HIV/AIDS crisis on the island. Candidates are urged to take advantage of their campaigns to visit and listen to the nearly 30,000 HIV/AIDS cases on the island.

Sadly you are not in touch with PR's reality. We (PR) is no where near Cuba for example in terms of health care (neither is the US) Much has to be done. I am afraid it is. You need to understand, the HIV-AIDS crisis in Puerto Rico is devastating our community. I works with this communitiy every day and see the challenges they face to get basic healthcare. This is 5 minutes from my house and I work daily to keep from giving up. It frustrates all of us.
