  • Got another unit coming in next week.Same deal.APX7000 Model III UHF-H/7-800MHz dual band.

  • Question, can you make phone calls with this radio? Some of them you can. I'm looking to buy 6 units.

  • @gtametals Not regular phone calls like on a cellular phone but if the repeater system you are using had DTMF phone patch,you can make calls using the radio.These units cost about$2,500each used without accessories..If you are looking to just make phone call,get a cell phone.

  • @ktaguchi Ok thank for the info. I'm looking to buy them for my company. There is the R765 iDEN® handset that allows phone calls to land lines like a cell phone. Do you know of a good website to buy these units? I want them band new unless you know of a website with good used ones. I need 6 units to start.

  • How do you actully programe the APX7000 ,no-one has one on youtube at all only showing the xts5000 !the APX cps software does'nt show much! can you get it programed ???

  • If I had a midland cheap two way radio could I talk to you if I was withing range if we were on the same channel? Because I want to get a different radio than my pal and I am not sure if we can chat.
