This video features my two KitchenAid Briva In-Sink Dishwashers. There are four segments: About the Briva Models, Tour of the Briva Dishwasher, See it Wash - without dishes, See it Wash - with dishes. A few seconds into the video, there is an time index for each segment. This allows the viewer to skip ahead if desired.
Comments: During the See it Wash segments, there are reflections of my basement wall and ceiling in the Plexiglas, which I appologize for.
The green dishes were not the best choice for the See it Wash segment. I do not have an explanation for why the wash arm did not turn the first time with dishes loaded. I restarted the same Rinse Only cycle immediately, and the wash arm turned normally.
During the Tour segment, I make reference to the Nylon Cords and Springs which balance the lid. The nylon cords attach to the lid hinge bracket, then extend horizontally to the front of the machine, over a pully, then vertically down to a second pully, and into the bottom enclosed area under the dishwasher and attach to fairly strong springs - one for the right hinge, one for the left hinge. As mentioned in the video, this is to take weight off of the lid (balancing) to make it easier to open and close. Also, at the end of the Wash cycles, the lid latch is release, allowing the lid to open at the end of the cycle for the dishes to air dry. The Balance cords have just enough tension to lift the lid open slightly. The lid does not open wide on it's own.
Can you do a quick-wash cycle with dishes?

great demo.... so what's the verdict? recommended or not?
a full sized dishwasher is overkill for my needs so always been intrigued by these sink type, and drawer typer dishwashers.

Great Video!
I have seen these quite often on Craigslist Atlanta. Good prices.
Have you run it through a whole wash with the Plexiglas? Wondering if it uses more water in the actual wash portion.
Thanks for the forbidden cycle demo!
