Barton Creek Dam Building - June 19, 2010

The last time I was at Barton Creek, I thought to myself that it would be great if we could build a dam to make the water slightly higher. When I went back, some guys had already started doing just that... but they also decided to cut a channel in the center to have a faster current.

I joined in and starting moving stones... about 200 of them. I also filmed the progress and some of the everyday goings on at the creek. This is the result of about a day of moving stones.

I'm curious to see if it is still there next time... or if others will build it even stronger by adding more stones. If everyone who sees this video adds a few rocks to the pile... the dam will be awesome!

@Engineer9736 XD that happened to me before the creek was originally 2 feet deap when we were done it was 4 feet deep and some jerk thought it would be funny to walk on it! it took 4 hours to build :D
