this evp was captured during a daytime visit to Gettysburg. I had fallen in a hole and as such I couldn't walk around and take pictures. My husband had left me in the car while he walked into the battlefield to see and read a monument there. I stayed in the car and took this picture hoping for orb pictures. I had heard if you sing Dixie they will sing back. I was in alot of pain so my singing is awful. First you will hear me attempting to sing Dixie, after that you will hear a voice singing, "Look away," then you will hear my husband opening the car door and over top of that you will hear, "to Dixie." You will hear no more singing after that as I stopped the recording.

  • I dont bealive this EVP but even if it is real it's definatly not a soldier i kno EVP's are whispery but this is very high pitched even tho 15, 16 yr old kids joined both the confederate and union armies I still dont think they would really have a kigh pitched voice, maybe it was a bugler or a drummer boy singing?

  • @TheITZJimmy I do not know why it is so high-pitched, I do know that it is not a fake. Maybe as you suggested it could be one of the younger soldiers. All evps are not whispery though most are. I am not a fake, I am a grandmother and a retired nurse who does research on the question of life after death. Go listen to some of my other videos and you will hear whole sentences that are not whispery. Thanks for listening and commenting.

  • @dafgoat Its quite likely it can be a boy singing it. There were as young as 8 year olds that joined. If its not fake of course.

  • @TheScandalised Yes, this evp is real, I was so very surprised when I found it in my recordings from our visit to Gettysburg. I also know that alot of them were young boys who fought in the Civil War. I haven't captured anything near to this on my other investigations of Gettysburg. We live about an hour and a half from the battlefield and I am planning another trip there. Hopefully, something just as wonderful will show up in the evidence as I have gotten several new pieces of equipment.
