  • Is this a 15 or 21 chords? Can you play this song on a 15 chords? There is a used Oscar Schmidt autoharp for sell on Kijiji that I could buy for 180$. It's says it's the "basic model" from the 60's, and it's a 15 chords. The owner says it's worth 800$ though, but I can't be sure.

  • @Glaurung000 Yes this song can be played on either set up--15 or 21 chord. The 'harp in this video is 15. I only use 3 chords for this song.

  • That looks very much like an autoharp that I converted and sold on ebay a while back. Those are Chuck Daniels chord bars just like the ones he uses on his Arkansas Autoharp.

  • @howdyhank Thanks, yes I believe I bought this from you on ebay. I thought they might be Chuck Daniels chord bars--but didn't want to say for sure. I think when I sent Buck Lumbert a picture of this one (so he could set me up another one) I believe he thought they were Chuck's. Well, now we know! I love this harp by the way--I had to fight hard for it that night on Ebay!!!

  • nice playing.. I know this one on the accordion... love it like you are playing.

  • @astridiato Thanks so much for your comments, I'm glad you liked it.

  • I want to be able to play an autoharp so bad, not to mention my favorite music is Irish music

  • @mommypohl Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you like my videos. My harp is an old converted OS Appalachian. I love the sound of it too. It is diatonic, keys of F and C.

  • This is so pretty. I am enjoying all your autoharp videos. You play sweetly and sensitively. Is your 'harp chromatic or diatonic? Sounds beautiful! Janet

  • That autoharp has such a nice sound! And you play well!
