Historically, we have assigned the principle of a supernatural creator to the things we don't understand, like the thunder and the rain and the sun shining and whatnot. Now that science has answer's those questions, religion must come up with new ones to keep a position in our lives. Science will eventually answer those questions to. It's just a matter of time

I like to think that before the big bang there was a Star Wars type of universe up and running.. and then someone made a cool new bomb (like how we went from cannon balls to nukes) and accidentally blew up the whole universe.. then everything was like.. well lets make some more shit and start over i suppose. Which God do you believe in? There have been hundreds of Gods. Certainly you don't believe in most of them why? They all have been replaced by newer Gods. So you are an atheist in respect to those past gods. We just go one god further. The existence of any gods can not be proven. All belief is faith based only which in reality is bullshit. Key word is reality. Science has explained 99% of everything and that should be good enough for any thinking man or woman.
