Stretch should be your handle for sure. You are truely very rare when it comes to draw length. Hey was the yardstick method right?

we had a recurve laying around, and i finally strung it and put a flipper rest on it. i figured out i have to use 31" arrows to shoot comfortably. went to by arrows today(didnt know they come uncut sometimes) and asked the guy at Dick's sporting goods for that size. he tried to make me feel like a fool by saying theres no way im using 31" and theyre too long. went home, and sure enough, i was right. his disbelief made me want to punch him in the face for doubting me and making me feel stupid

my name is christian,

i am new to bow hunting i just ordered a bow through my freind who has a bow shop and sells compound and recurve bows.

i tried this and got a 30 inch draw length and he said my draw length would be around 28 and i am 5'9"

idk how tall you should be for this large of a draw length.

but i would like to know why you prefer using FOBS,

and or what type of arrows, broadheads,flethchings, and nocks are.

@jamie123ginge all depends on you man, I was pulling 70 on my compound at 17 but since its a recurve and theres no let off i droped down to 60 for a it, could do 70 but gets tiring after awhile, I'd say go to your local bow shop and test some out, you dont want to get something thats to hard for you to pull because you wont be able to practice as long and may ruin the sport for you.

i was given a brand new Browning F5 Tornado from my dad and he no longer had the paper work on it so neither of us know how to adjust the draw lenght, all the sites show that it can be done with out a bow press but don't show how could you tell me or make a vid, to help me understand how this is done? thanks again.

wow I just happen t have a yard stick next to me, I use it to shut the door to my den as I hear the pitter patter of my wifes feet. 27.5". That just saved me some money.
