  • tangina naman oh, ba't ginawang parang sayaw bading hehehe

  • wow! that's freaking intense. as if ready for battle!

  • @LasFederacion the culture of cordillera must stay in its own originality......pls respect the culture of the cordillerans!

  • @LasFederacion In the Movie called "Apocalypto" by Mel Gibson , you see the similarity of the native indian tribes of Mexico like the Mayans or the Aztecs to the Igorots or some other native tribe of the Philippines. That's similarity in culture and costumes too.

  • @LasFederacion Also look at the Maori Indians of New Zealand. Parang pareho ang costumes kaya mas mukhang matapang ang mga Maori. They're dance is fierce and yun mag lalaki parang tough ang dance moves nila.

  • @LasFederacion I think the igorot is sort of like the North American Indians in a lot of ways. The costumes even the loin cloth (bahag) and the feathers are just like some Native American tribes like the Apache, Navajo, Hopi, Mohawk, etc. I saw some native american dances and the native chants and songs they have and the beat is the same with some Filipino native tribes as well like the Igorot, Ibaloi or Badjao. Lots of similarity. And nice to be proud of it since American Indians also are proud

  • This makes a mockery in our Igorot culture, though maybe some crave for changes and wants to add modern concepts, it is just not right to destroy what our forefathers bestowed upon us. True, it may be a time to change culture but with what "hiphop na canao"? nakakita ka met aya iti ag breakbreak dance nga naka bahag?!. The point is that, stop trying to revolutionize the steps of our dances because every steps, every hand moves, every twitch, every hop, every facial movements means something.

  • kininas,, nagmayat tupai jai sala da,,eto ksi ang problema sa ating piliino, imbes na mtuwa tau sa isang ginawa,, we criticize them,, bakit kau ba kaya neong gawin to,,??? this is one of the biggest aspect why we filipinos are still in poverty, we are afraid of CHANGE,, lagi tayong nakatali ating nakaugalian,, Shame on you guys,,, no offence,, this is my opinion.., n i like how they modernize the dance,, proud to be an igorot ,,!!

  • cguro pag nkita ng Lolo q ito ndi sya matutuwa! gnagahasa ang Culture nmin. do these dancers here know why we Igorots have this rich culture? alam kaya nila ang ibig sbhin ng mga steps na gigawa nila? i bet they don't.

  • Just give respect for each other...may it seems not an Igorot dance for the native people but it is because the foundation of this dance came from our brothers in mountain province it seems so magulo tignan because its a collaborated with all mountain province dances and a fusion of balletic movement...kaya pasensya na sa mga native people...at dun sa mga hindi naka intindi ng sayaw...anyway it is approved by Cultural Center of the Philippines...
