Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam perform a tribute to war veteran Tomas Young, who is in a wheelchair after being shot in the spine by an Iraqi sniper. The musical tribute, titled "No More," is featured in the film "Body of War," co-directed by Phil Donahue. The film is a heartfelt depiction of Young's journey from soldier to anti-Iraq war activist. The photographs in the slide show were taken by Kevin Donahue back stage at the Lollapalooza concert in Chicago, 2007. People in the photographs include Tomas Young, Phil Donahue, Marlo Thomas, Eddie Vedder, Vladimir Pozner, Eddie's wife and daughter, and friends and family. • Thanks! Is there a better quality audio of this around?

  • I assume the song will be on CD soon. If I hear anything I'll post it here. Thanks for viewing the slide show!

  • This song is great. Thank you Eddie for doing it!

  • Eddie Vedder is a wonderful to write this honest song. However, I think he, Thomas Young, and their peace organizers could have used this opportune and unique time at Lalapoolza better. Instead of telling people to go to websites with their little homepagesm they should have told the Lallopooolza fans to go to their district offices on a specific day that week (when congress members and senators where in their home states in August) to protest this illegal, violent, and endless war.

  • I love this song. I can't say that I'm close to the war effort, but this song brings me to tears and I wish it's lyrics could be true. no more war.

  • iam an afghanistan vet, and the first time i heard this made fell sad and shed tears while listening ,specialy for 2 friends of mine who got killed in iraq and afghanistan, i miss you both dearly

  • i think id take a bullet in the back or just about anywhere for the chance to meet eddie and have him write a song for me, like the soldiers he is a hero and he proves it over and over by doing things like this

  • Asa two time Iraq veteran I realize how lucky I was to come back with no injuries. So many times I came so close.Driving over a roadside bomb with it blowing up the vehicle behind me instead. I realize how lucky I am for the couple times that happened but feel horribly guilty about it as well.

I may be out of the USMC and working a different job now,but the nightmares are still there and getting anything done except Celexa perscribed is pretty much impossible.I wish this war had never happened.

  • I witnessed this song live in Holland. The version was used on the Into the Wild Soundtrack. We sang "No More" with 50.000 people.... what a moment. I felt like finally we could speak out on something together. It's so important. I think that day we felt a small little glimps of what the 60's might have been like. To this day I am proud that I was there and not sitting at home jacking off or something. But despite my pried let's not forget the point of this song: End this nightmare!!!!!
