  • how right on John was over a year ago. Hope to see what you have to saynow John about the huge government bailouts. Where is this heading?

  • I have a good general background in all this, in formal education and work experience. We are facing hard times, my friends. I just hope I am wrong.

  • Actually I have to laugh, not being in the investor class, it will be nice to see many of the well heeled folks joining the ranks of the impoverivished, and see how life is on the other side tracks. I know you will say it affects the poor too, well maybe but in reality being slightly more poor does not make diffence.

  • The worst wont come until later in the year. Remember the housing industry may have only been 10% of the economy but it was the driving force of the other 90%. Cut off the head and the body will die. 1929 all over again?

  • Greed will destroy america like it has done to all the great civilizations in the past that are not to be seen today, but remembered!

  • Won't this also mean that America will lose the reserve currency? Which means we won't be able to retain the trade deficit with other nations. Also we won't be able to pay back our government debt to the Federal Reserve.

Looks like a perfect storm and America will be left holding the bag. Likely China will have problems as well, which would hit the world economy directly.

  • Interesting and well spoken. I don't know a lot about this subject so I can't offer any criticism or support.
