GCN (N64) Gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
NOTE: I'm using the emulated GameCube Version of Majora's Mask from the Collector's Edition Disc.
"The series again takes a dramatic turn from tradition as Link wanders into a three-day journey in a mysterious parallel world. Majora's Mask challenges players to don magical masks and save a town threatened to be crushed under a menacing moon."
--The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, Game Info
Majora's Mask is definitely a Zelda of a different color; being said, Majora's Mask is my personal favorite installment of the series, due to its darker tone, the three-day cycle and its unforgettable emotional moments; both heart-warming and tragic.
As Link sets off on a secret and personal journey in search of his invaluable friend, whom is believed to be Navi, he was then mugged by the Skull Kid as he wandered in what is believed to be a section of the Lost Woods. The Skull Kid stole his horse, Epona, and the item bestowed to Link from Zelda, the Ocarina of Time. He then tries to pursue him, but after entering a hollow tree, Link falls down an abyss and is then transported into the parallel world called Termina. Link was then transformed into a Deku Scrub by the masks evil magic. Tatl has been left behind and decides to accompany Link until they catch the Skull Kid. As Link exits the Clock Tower, he notices that he was being followed by a strange man whom is know to be the Happy Mask Salesman. He promises Link to return him to his normal self if he can retrieve his precious item back, in exchange for the mask stolen by the Skull Kid.
How do you save?! I just got the game from my friend today and I don't know how to save! Please help!

@xxnactise
You should be able to save right after playing the Song of Time (which you will remember when you get your ocarina back).
