This video provides an introduction to the Decatur Street Stormwater Low Impact Development Demonstration Project. This project is a trial of a roadway design which features storage and infiltration of runoff under the pavement section. The project utilitzed three different types of runoff water quality treatment and then routes the runoff into a drainage layer under the pavement for storage and infiltration. The project was jointly funded by the City of Olympia and Washington State Department of Ecology. Constructed in 2008.
