if my buggy comes with a 1800 mah BAtteries and i want to use a 3000 mah.. do i need to change anything in the buggy?

no you dont need anything, they can handle a 3s lipo or 8.4 nimh. more mah=more run time

By the way, if I get a 2s 5000 mAh lipo, what charger would be best to use?

Just make sure you get either a nihm 7.2 or lipo 7.4. The 8.4 that the buggy comes with creates many problems such as losing radio signal, the dreaded "my car will not run when I press the trigger" If you decide to go the lipo route dont forget to set the low batter shutoff mode in the esc menu to prevent ruining your battery.

@NovaCrysis you'll be VERY well srved with that RC car. for beginners is the best. low price and awesome fun. you'll have a blast with that one, I've seen it!! and probably will buy one too :)

Hi I have a question. I'm a teenager boy looking for a fun and fast Rc car, so for Christmas I'm thinking of getting 1/10 2.4Ghz Exceed RC Electric SunFire RTR Off Road Buggy. Do you think this is a good machine for a lowish price? I don't really want to ask for a $160 one. Please let me know if this is a good choice.
