A robotic dinosaur 'PLEO' designed to animate robots into lifelike creatures with organic movement and adaptable behaviors is displayed during International Robot Exhibition(IREX) 2007 in Tokyo, Japan.

Sensors for sight, sound, and plenty for touch, over 35 in all, make Pleo a responsive little dinosaur that can react to you and the environment in a natural way. Equipped with 14 servo-motors and multiple processors, Pleo achieves a new level in realistic body movement. The robot will be software-upgradeable via SD card or USB interfaces and will cost 420,000(KRW).
