New I-95 HOV Lane in Miami

This is the ridiculous new HOV lane arrangement on 1-95 going northbound from Miami on two different days. The variable toll pricing is
not the ridiculous part; it is the implementation. Not only will the registered users (such as carpoolers and hybrids) exemption to the toll be easy to manipulate, but it will keep people from arranging sporadic carpooling and add an extra burden of bureaucracy to those doing it on a consistent basis. On top of this, the physical implementation of the system demonstrates extreme incompetence on the part of the Florida DOT and Florida Legislature. As you can see in the video, it risks lives and limits access.

Note: Since I filmed this, the Florida DOT has had enough sense to change the white flex-sticks to orange flex-sticks but not enough to revamp the system all together
