Well, if you ever want to build your own analog synthesizer this project is a great first build. Other than that, its purpose it to make weird sounds, in fact this project is called the WSG, or Weird Sound Generator. I suppose you could use it for SFX or something.

in the kit you recieve everything you need (pcb, panel, pots, switches, cabinet...)? i have never done anything DIY and i have 0 knowlegde but i wanna start with this proyect, although first i will read some of the books recommended on the MFOS web, i hope with that i am able to build this, and in a future start building modules in order to increase my modular system...

Its not hard at all. I had very little experience when I built it. the kit includes everyting except the cabinet and front panel.  You can buy a premade panel on the MFOS website but they are expensive. I just used a piece of scrap metal and drilled holes into it using the template provided on the website. If you have no experience this project is definitely possible. If you are still unsure about your abilities you can always start with something simpler/cheaper like an effects pedal kit.
