The Raven 1963 part 1

The Raven (1963) is a B movie horror-comedy produced and directed by Roger Corman. The film stars Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, and Boris Karloff as a trio of rival sorcerers. Part of a series of Edgar Allan Poe adaptations produced by Corman through American International Pictures, the film was written by Richard Matheson based on references to Poe's poem "The Raven". The supporting cast includes an early Jack Nicholson.

Thank you so much. Yesterday I a friend of mine asked what my favorite classic film was and I answered The Raven. I have been looking for years for it and today only came to link Price reciting the poem only to find you had posted this and months ago! Even has a young Jack Nicholson, I wonder if that was his first film. Anyway thank you very very much for this.

The most of this masterpieces of horror was created by the director Roger Corman in the sixties, based upon novels, poems and tales of Edgar Alan Poe. Being the principal actor Vincent Price.

many many TYs for the post! cormans masterpiece! one of my childhood favs! imagine the wrap party... vinny, boris and peter telling war stories from the 30s... throwing down shots with jack... getting an eye-full of hazels world-class boobage...throwing down more shots with jack...hitting up RC for a bit role as a creepy drifter in his next movie that starts shootingtomorrow...throwing down with jack some more...as kelly bundy says "the mind wobbles"...much love to my YT peeps...rock on...

Saw this at the movies when I was 11, it was the film that made me aware of the concept of the Comedy/Horror genre.
