For nine days each July, throngs of visitors come to run with the bulls, and a whole lot more, at Pamplona's Festival of San Fermin. • No matter what they say, the running of the bulls in Pamplona is still one of the most exciting festivals in the world.

  • Even though many people abroad won't believe me, most of us, normal and young Spaniards hate killing the poor animals and these bullfights... now just old people actually enjoy this and pay for it, the rest of us would love to see this abolished, but the governments just won't do it.

This is an awful and very old tradition, it doesn't actually show the truth about Spain now... :(

  • @obletub676 This is first thing that pops in my mind when I think of spain.

  • I know a Spainiard who does this....I would love to see him do this for real.

  • @highmover88 You can't just go any time of year... it's at the beginning of the San Fermin festival. Any one older than 18 can participate.

  • if i had enough money and crazy enough, i think ill go there at the end of december, can outsiders join this bull run ?

  • definately something to visit, maybe not the bull fight but definately running. 3 weeks after running of the bulls you can go to the tomato festival.

  • poor bull

  • Intresting

  • Very nice

  • @TxPranksta Well finally, someone who knows the truth about the.....hut hum...uhh "Artform"? LoL! Oh and if you think this slow, agonising, exhausting, torture-taunting finishes when the BULL collapses and is dead and the people cheer the Matador well......it doesn't! The bull is an obviously strong animal or was and they drag it away into a slaughter pen underneath the stadium .Here the bull slowly agonisingly bleads, goes into shock, has a heart attack when its organs fail and well....
