  • It says "original video" above , but there is a fair chunk missing from the beginning and the end - the video should be more than 5 minutes long. The song even gets cut off at the end!

    (see version posted by @kurdtss)

  • @Ladyeglantine - sorry about that! My source for a number of my videos was a system that CUT them to 3'15" - annoying I know, but at least that 3'15" IS original!

Last time I looked, there was a FULL version of this on YT - but the quality was POOR.

  • One of their best song! Substance and commercial potential. Nice!

  • So what is with the woman in the gray dress?

  • Im gonna have to go dig this CD out of my collection and take it with me on the drive to work tomorrow. Good memories...

  • 16 people are completely clueless!!!

  • @strathpipe Yea, they are probably Gordon Highlander reenactors - the cap dicing is accurate for the Gordons. I guess they just got the reenactors that they could find. At least they got the facings correct.

  • @forty8r The Russian regular cavalry were dressed in pretty similar fashion to their western counterparts. The attack by the Russian cavalry on the Highlanders at Balaclava was carried out by two hussar regiments and two cossack regiments and the hussars wore shako type headgear so the French look is fine. The Highland regiment however was the 93rd Argyll & Sutherland with red and white dicing, not the one shown here (from the cap dicing and facings they are the 92nd Gordon Highlanders)

  • I half expected Adrian Paul to appear, in redcoat and kilt, in the soldier scenes.

  • Shouldn't these guys be using flintlocks rather than precussion cap rifles? I assume it is Napoleonic but if is this Crimean War then whay does the cavalry looks French not Russian if Crimean.

  • If these guys were suppose to represent the Thin Red Line then their hat band is very wrong. The 93rd had a red and white dice round their hats certainly not as shown on this video.

  • Dude got the "Extra" High Top shoes

  • It's been many years since the last time I've heard this song. I love it.
