When people say the pledge in class. I sit there and finish my work. I undoubtedly love this country as my home, but I refuse to pledge my life to the ONE THING I KNOW THUSFAR, and will never do so until I've experienced many flags that I could potentially praise to the fullest of my ability.

Republicans can't stand the original phrasing "one nation indivisible" because they are the most divisive of all people in the U.S. This guy can't even say "indivisible."

Its obvious what happened. He was thinking about the "under God" part so much that he skipped "indivisible". You can tell by how he put extra emphasis on "under God". Yeah it was a gaff, but he didn't butcher it.

I'd be more worried about someone who hasn't said the pledge since high school trying to talk about patriotism or politics in general.

You haven't said the pledge since you were in high school? Oh, I guess you only said it when you were a minor and had no choice. Now that you are all grown up, I guess you don't need to say it any more. You are probably so relieved.
