Identity of Felony Theft Suspect Sought

Dallas Police detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating a felony theft suspect that was captured on surveillance video. The theft occurred at the 7-11 located at 9235 John Carpenter on November 6, 2011 at 11:20 pm. This offense was documented on report #293596-Y.

In the video, the suspect is seen smoking a cigarette and then asking the cashier to use the store telephone. Once the cashier steps from behind the counter, the suspect jumps over the counter and at the same time pulls a plastic bag from his pants. He then starts to fill it with cartons of cigarettes. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's.. He is wearing a green muscle shirt and blue jeans.
