The Wolverine 450 doesn't do as well as other 4x4s in the mud b/c they are classed as a sport bike and come with sport type 23" tires vs 25" a/t tires others come with. I upgraded to 26" Mud Lites and I do as well or better than any other 4x4 with comparible ground clearence plus benifit from the smaller frame and performance suspension.
marcelthecrow - "i never said i was mister know it all but i do know my guttless 550lbs 1989 honda 350 was a better mud machine then a couple of my buddy's wolverines "
I guess. What size were the Wolverines your buddies had? Mine is a 450 4X4. I just know that mine can handle some tough mud. Mine can hold its own against a 2001 Honda Rancher 350, I do know that much.
Besides, give the Wolverine some credit. It is classified as a quad you know.

marcelthecrow - "wolverines are decent trail machines but suck in mud holes their low to the ground and dont have a diff lock "
And who decided that you're Mr. Know-it-all? I have taken my Wolverine 450 through some pretty tough mud (dont have them on vid). Whoever made this vid wasnt very bright. He got stuck because he's a n00b. That mud is deep, you dont freakin' stop right before you go through something like that.
@TheSmallfly I have 25 inch mudlites and my wolverine is unstoppable in the mud
