Who wouldnt ask the doctor what he prescribes and why? Since i have studied things like this i always ask and have a dialogue with the doctor. None has so far ever prescribed to me something that i knew, before going there, that i would need. Most times it have just been broadspectrum anitibiotics. sometimes when i have diagnosed myself and been able to narrow it down, the doctor did the same thing, and thus prescribed some appropriate narrow band antibiotic.
