Not just two. Bashir armed the LRA and gave them shelter in Sudan, in return LRA had to help Khartoum fight the SPLA. When Khartoum and the SPLA signed a peace deal Bashir didn't need them anymore and used them as a barging chip with Uganda. Bashir would expel the LRA if Uganda would make John Garang have an "accident". Which is exactly what happened.
