I have seen many interpretations of this aria, "Teco io sto" from Luciano and one with different sopranos. This scene is for me the best. When I see it, then I forget that a concert is, I am put in the opera! Deborah Voigt, is a fantastic soprano. They interpret this aria and Luciano representational and vocally, so wonderful, I can not see enough, and did not hear enough! Thank you, thank you! Ciao:)))

Thats a bit unfair- having an accent, American or otherwise, is not a defect, after all- it adds a certain colour to her Italian, as Pav's heavily accented French did in with his Tonio.
If the 'wrong' accent spoilt a performance you would have to write off every American singer before they even made their début. I certainly don't think her accent detracts from her performance.

This is a treasure to keep forever; Omg They put a signature on this that will never be erased;
I can't thank you enough for this post God bless; I only wish My father was here to hear it ; My Father loved Mario lanza , and many others. But he would have given this probably the best rating of them all. Thanks again.

a bit "sloppy" and "affected" from the great Luciano....i feel he was in a lazy mood. Voigt spot on.

I like her better this way. I saw them perform this at the Met and they both gave great impassioned performances of the opera!

lovely. Amazing duo. The moments at 5:10 when she looks at him, stunning.

I did notice though but did not want to point out the mistake I find it rude to say and I am already greatful enough for you uploading

I agree. I think the weight loss has been too drastic, and it really shows in her voice. A loss of richness, and, as you say, commitment. I am sure one reason she hastened to lose the weight was to fight back at the mean-spiritedness of the infamous 'black dress' insult. However, haste has not rewarded her (or us, alas.)
:(
I find it a rather apt typo "Deborah Voice" instead of "Deborah Voight ." Rather like a dyslexic Iditarod musher who spells "dog" like "god."
