Just a little demo featuring the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai and the Deluxe Memory Man. Sorry it cut off. Not sure why it did that. The demo was finished, anyway. You just miss me saying goodbye, is all.

Gear used: '72 Thinline Telecaster Reissue with a Lollar Imperial humbucker in the bridge and a Charlie Christian neck pickup. It's played in the middle position with the coil tapped through a Fender Blues Jr. with a ceramic Weber Blue Dog speaker.

  • haha! good one on 5:38

    nice review ;)

  • Poor old Memory Man almost fell to the floor! Only the clipping (overloading) when playing with pickups that have hot output is a downside of the DMM. I don't know how it is on the SMMH?

  • jajaja master!!

  • the best delay pedals

  • thanks for this.

I have the hazarai. The sound just doesnt excite me!

I did have a diamond memory lane but that wasnt amazing.

    DDM sounds mega !!!!!

  • Doing those reverse delays at the end sound awesome =]

This was a pretty decent video, people who watch this can get such understanding about both pedals and analog and digital.

I have the memory man with hazari one setting I use alot is when you use 300ms and turn the delay all the way to the left and bring the repeat to the right it gives such good filter panning type effect matching that with my dd-5 sounds awesome probs sound better using an analog delay.

    anyway cheers for the video.

  • HAHAHAH

I laughed out loud (late at night no less!) when your DMM almost fell.

  • I also had the XO one but that .. lacked a certain 'mojo' and mine really had a lot of clocknoise above 350ms.

Either, nice idea of demoing these together! A lot of the kids out there don't know the differences between all the Memory Men.

  • It's a nice idea to demo these versus one another but these units aren't comparable at all. One is digital, one is analog and both have a really different sound.

I was almost afraid you weren't going to show the modulation side of the DMM, that would be a shame!

I personally think the DMM is one of the best delays out there. I had three, I have two left now. One from the 90's and one of the very first ones [end 70's / begin 80's], a blue one (WITH modulation, not the one without).

    Love 'em!
