@Bobmonkeylicks In her case, Leave the left hand's fingers on the finger board lightly and immediately when the right hand strummed down. You can also use the palm of the strummed hand to mute.

I Luv this song ... and youve done a great job in teaching it. i play the drums and i love playing this song on it lol. anywayz im taiwanese too ... but i live in Australia ... also im a christian too ... its great seeing your enthusiasm in teaching music especially christian music :D ... god bless you.
