The 'star' over London

For over 30 years author, lecturer and artist Benjamin Creme has been preparing the way for the emergence of Maitreya, the World Teacher.
On 12 December 2008 Share International Foundation distributed a news release announcing that in the very near future a large, bright star would appear in the sky visible throughout the world, night and day, heralding the imminent appearance of Maitreya in His first interview on US television. Since then sightings of the star have been reported all over the world, on YouTube and blogs, and hundreds of photographs have been sent to Share International magazine.
Take part in this extraordinary event by looking for the star. If you photograph or video the star, please report it to the media or Share International magazine and help create an open media debate about its meaning and purpose.

Note: The zoom effect of the 'star' getting closer was not caused by the camera's zoom. The camera was on a tripod and the zoom function was hardly used. The 'star' pulsates, radiates different coloured lights and moves back and forth. It is silent. The noises on this video are all street sounds.

The 'star' has been seen by many people -- over London, the UK and around the world -- since December 2008. From my own experience the 'star' has been very bright over London for many weeks now and is consistently visible on clear nights. It is unique in the way it changes colour and shape: this can be seen even without telescopes or zoom lenses. It is remarkable.

Try a google search on "share international" - to see their website & updated pics of the UFOs - they're heralding the emergence onto the world stage of a messiah like figure "Maitreya the World Teacher" - prophesied by all the major world religions. He won't work as a religious figure, nor will He endorse any particular religion over any other. He'll inspire mankind to see itself as one huge family, to create peace & to rebuild the world so that it works for everyone, not just the rich.

There's nothing remarkable about this. Just a self-fulfilling prophecy. Creme said "there will be a star", and bingo, lo and behold a convenient hi-tech bit of wizardry is produced in the sky. Its all cobblers and anyone getting sucked in by the belief that a magical messiah will soon appear needs to get their brain re-arranged.

The "zoom" effect is merely the camera's autofocus searching for something to focus on. The image grows larger and fainter as the focus is lost.

The Share Int website has lots of photos that include such camera artifacts:

- a camera strap or dust mote reflecting the flash is imagined to be a "blessing"

- lens flare from shooting toward the sun is a UFO

- reflected sunlight from one building onto another is a sign from god

- and so on

They sure try hard to find miracles in ordinary events.
