  • Hoss @ 6:30 ish you talk about the threadcutting indicator "slipping" i was thinking on buying one of these g0602's for the garage at home but i was worried have you had a problem with that on this lathe? If so have you identified the cause of the problem? Thanks in advance FMJ out

  • @fullmetaljason i was just explaining a what if situation if you didn't adjust it beforehand.

wasn't a real problem for me

  • Hoss, always fun to watch whatever you are up to. In 1 of your videos or a post on the zone, I saw a Fender guitar hanging on the wall in the shop. I am guessing you must play? Watching cnc's can get tedious like watching water boil. Great place to jam. Why not add in your own soundtrack to some of your videos? Maybe "the broke down no tool changing milling machine blues"? LOL, Cya

  • @CncObsession oh, it's just a decoration, never learned how to play yet.

  • So when you convert this to CNC, do you lose all the gear settings and just program that in mach?

  • @diyengineer yep, the gears all go in a box and Mach does all the work, one day.
