People are just annoyed that he actually points out who the enemies are: corporations, health insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies. Some just can't help but accuse someone of hypocrisy when a candidate is open and confrontational. But it's more honest than being a nice milquetoast who wants to please everyone. Edwards has what it takes to square off against the Repubs.

Talking about it & actually doing something are two different things. Edwards did nothing as senator of NC....if fact, he had a very poor attendance record & was called "no-show Edwards". That's why he couldn't take his own state in '04 & is now losing big. Very unusual for a candidate not to win their own state.....bottom line is there's a reason for it. We know the "true" Edwards who is different than the one you see is the ads. Very phony & fake.

In 2004 he was either praised or insulted as the 2nd most liberal senator in the congress. Look at his history of helping and standing with unions. I have reason to doubt Romney's sincerity, but not Edwards.

By far the best candidate. I hope the people of Iowa and New Hampshire get that.

roscoe85cj: Read his book. He defended people who were INJURED. If a large corporation makes products that less then a percentage of them contain safety violations, it is in the interest of the corp's profits to not shut down production. Instead they allow those products to come to markets knowing a few lawsuits are cheaper then halting production and creating new designs.

roscoe85cj: Remember everyone should have access to lawyers in America. Most go to large multinationals were the real bucks are. Besides, John Adams defended the Brits involved in the Boston Massacre even though he supported the revolution. Everyone needs access to a lawyer. At least Edwards was one for the people.
