The Minnesota Lynx spent a brief respite from their hectic playing schedule to participate in the 3rd annual Catwalk for a Cure at Mall of America's Nordstrom Court. You won't find jerseys, balls or ice packs here as Lynx players and coaches loosen up to show off their modeling skills. Not only does the event benefit a worthwhile cause, but the Catwalk for a Cure also busts common stereotypes regarding female models.
Highlighting this year's Catwalk are designs from Lynx forward/center Taj McWilliams-Franklin, who also took the time to help make the dress worn by her youngest daughter, Maia. The applause wouldn't stop there, as Charde Houston received a surprise visit from her mother and breast cancer survivor, Dorothy Green.
All proceeds from this event go to the Minnesota Lynx Foundation, who in turn donate to breast cancer charities, this year's recipient being the Minnesota chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Coach Cheryl Reeve looks the best/most interesting! (0:18 mark on the left). I didn't recognize her at first haha. She's doing a great job coaching.
I also like my Rebecca's look, and the glasses. No one would think she's a rebound machine!
LEt's win the championship, Lynx!
