@AbdullahKhaleeji I don't believe you. I think Bahrein needs a revolution, for a start, just like Libya and Tunisia and Egypt. Followed by the rest of the Gulf States. Get rid of the dynastic rulers and elect MPs who are not puppets but actually do something for their country.

Oh and the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain have democratically elected FEMALE members of Parliament ^_~

Next thing you will introduce is full democratic institutions, a parliament, elected representatives of the people, a secret ballot, a free press, judiciary and media, rights for women and votes for women. Stilla long way to go then, it's not all about cars, is it?

Actually, as you can see in this video (unless you are blind), Dubai is NOT just a "city full of shops selling cheap jewelry"! It is an AMAZING, ultra-advanced, beautiful big city with ultra-modern crystal buildings, tallest tower in the world 0:06 and yes THERE IS manufacturing! The UAE manufactures perfumes, textiles, clothing, cement, steel, and has now produced its own CAR!
