How to setup product attributes in Magento Commerce
Log in to Magento
• Select Catalog tab and click on attributes : manage attributes
• You will get a list of all product attributes. Scroll to right. Click on Add New Attribute button for adding new attribute.
• Give specifications like code, scope, type, unique value, validation to owner, application to the product types. Select front end properties also. To manage label, click on the tab on left side.
• Manage title by entering title name and then saving the attribute. You can check the name in list.
• To manage attribute sets, click on Catalog : Attributes : Manage attribute sets. You will see all active attribute sets. You can add a new set by clicking on the button for Add new set.
• Enter new name for new set and also click on the base of the new set. Click on Save attribute set, when done.
