Smallville: Lois & Clark - One Day (AU)

PLEASE READ FIRST FOR THE STORY!!

Okay, so I've been in this Lois and Clark video making phase and this idea just hit me a few weeks ago. I had to wait to hear the perfect song to set this story to. And finally last week it came to me! I know this is a bit morbid but watch the whole thing and please bear with me! I wanted to make a story that could be told with few words and I think I managed to do so.

The story is, Lois Lane meets Clark Kent and they immediately hit it off as a couple. Presenting themselves to society, Lex Luthor, a former flame of Lois', sees them and becomes jealous of what he's lost. Meanwhile, Lois and Clark heat up. Clark is head over heels in love with Lois, so much so that he decides to propose to the woman of his dreams. Of course, Lois accepts but just as everything seems perfect Lex pays her an unexpected visit at work. He confesses he still loves her and that she loves him back. Lois tells him she is engaged to Clark but Lex refuses to believe she'll truly be happy with Clark. This upsets Lois and she goes home to Clark who comforts her. Clark is angered by Lex's behavior towards Lois and angrily confronts Lex. The two men fight and Lois becomes concerned for Clark. She is able to stop Clark from doing the worst to Lex but underestimates Lex. Lex has Clark killed which devastates Lois. Trying to drink her troubles away, Lois cannot get her mind off of Clark...he is all she thinks about. One day Lois is woken up by the police who inform her of their suspicions of Lex's involvement in Clark's death. Lois goes to Clark's grave and talks to him, imagining how Lex killed him and the pain he must have been in. Angry, Lois approaches Lex and holds him at gunpoint. Coming close to killing Lex, Lois remembers that this is not what Clark would want her to do. Trying to help her move on, Jimmy Olsen pays Lois a visit and as they talk, Lois learns that Lex has been arrested. And when she gets home that evening, Lois gets the surprise of her life...
