Just a 3 rep set with 530lbs @ 194lbs @ 5'10"-11".

Kind of raw with no belt or wraps just straps. I could have lifted with an alternating grip with no use of straps with no probs at all, but chose not to do so to avoid biceps injuries. I expect my max to be around 570-600ish (260-270kg) ....

I use semi-sumo to pull more out of my hamstrings and glutes instead of back. I also think that I can deadlift more safely with this stance. I do can deadlift well with the classical stance, but as I said it just feels better this way. Beyond that I do feel that the whole lift is more evenly distributed on the whole body instead of just lower back .... keep on deadlifting!

  • awesome technique...

ps: is this the famous minimal dj adam p. in the background there?

  • really great deadlifting!!! do u use semi-sumo stance for any particular reason???. I prefer semi-sumo stance aswell because im tall(6'2'') and i cant get my back into a good position with conventional stance but a wider stance allow me to use more hamstrings and hips.
