@SpencerDieal Welding supply stores - steel welding rod works great, cheap, several sizes available. Several materials - stainless works well, copper coated steel is good.

Metal or steel suppliers. Look in your yellow pages. I had to call around to a few places. I found one in Sacramento. And another from Windsor. (CA) The 1/8" wire isn't not too common, but can be found.

I called around to all the metal supply places *near* me. Eventually, I found a place that had it in stock, which is a 1 hr drive from my place. They do deliver to me, but only every 2 weeks because I life in the sticks. I buy it in 12ft lengths and pay about $3-$5 per piece. Check your yellow pages, and ask the places you call that don't sell it if they know of anyone who might. Good Luck!

Stainless steel wire, 1/8" and a TIG welder. Other than that, I do all the bends by hand.

@supravista I like you, supravista. Platonically speaking, of course. It makes me happy to see there are actually other well-informed individuals out there, who use their intellect. Just felt like saying.

WRONG
Kinetic art is simply defined by its effects being achieved through moving parts. While this is typically done through mechanisms such as wind, electricity, et cetera, it can also include the a person acting on it. It does not need to function on its own.

Your response "WRONG" is quite naked. Please clothe it in some information reinforce it.
I can't do anything with an opinion that isn't supported in any way.
