@pg232323 federer uses eastern grip because he always puts his index knuckle on the third bevel as well as his heel pad....as of 2005 it was proven that he uses a eastern grip and it's kinda obvious since he's an attacking type of player in tennis....only in certain ocasions does he switch to semi western and thats when he wants to put spin on his ball and go for a consistent rally to tire out the oppenent.
