  • actually his "bad" form is not even really that bad, but I got the point Smitty. Nice job. I dont know how you have time to do all this shit man!

  • @Shadowzz4 haha true, he still had good form, but you definitely get the point. I don't have time, just keep plugging away every day.

  • @smittydiesel I thought romanian deadlift was the same thing as stiff legged deadlift

  • @Virus278 the RDL is typically only done to a mid-shin position at the bottom with the barbell, SLDL are typically done to the floor. The goal (and purpose) of this video is to keep you only in the range where you can remain neutral and safe with the lower back. Thanks for the question!

  • You could also add that, based on physics, the closer the weight is to your body, the more weight you can pull or push. This is why the proper technique for Olympic lifts follows a straight movement along the axis of the body. The same principle is shown here.

  • Awesome tip. I'll pay attention to my technique from now on.

  • @damongatling1 Highly doubt that. Behind the Neck Press hits the should way better than front.

  • best tip

  • This is a great tip I have not heard before - thanks. I will show my athletes this one.

  • @smittydiesel

Thank you soooooooo much... I tried these today & could finally do RDLs without lower back discomfort simply by engaging my lats. Thanks again.

  • @damongatling1 was he str8 leg. I thought he had one leg forward one leg back. Bent at the knees.

  • Would it be better is always perform and teach this movement with a BB for Lat activation?
