This is one of 3 of my videos of the last day operation of the Central Illinois Railroad. I was able to get the operations up to the BNSF Yard as I could not chase the return trip, because I had to go to work.
This when after CIRY 1206 had served Kramer Cement company, is back on the mainline with one car from the cement plant, and uncoupled it on the siding, and hooked up back to 1206, and then hooked back up to the single car, and then headed west towards the next customer Domino Sugar, in which it pick up several more cars before heading to BNSF Western Ave. Yard.
Also the workers in the orange vest are BNSF crews who will take over the line the next day, and will be based out of the BNSF Western Ave Yard.
What will happen to these two engines? Time will tell.
