Reality: hundreds of soldiers are suffering PTSD when returning from their tours. many hide their horrors, but thousands suffer greatly from it. while most get help when returning from war, thousands still are not being helped with it.!!!
FACT: our goverment, just sweeps it under the carpet when our soldiers return as if it isnt anything to worry about as they have done their job. but the hard cold reality of it is, when these men and women return from war, the war isnt over for them, its far from the end and they live with the nightmares everyday.
it is about time, that our goverment sits up and takes notice that many of our soldiers just cant handle coming home, getting back into 'normal' routine and end up being violent, aggresstive, abusive and in many cases committ suicide because they havent received the help they need to help deal with the trauma they have seen and been put through!! This isn't just a job to our soldiers, its their lives and they need as much help and backing, so they can carry on! POLITICS!!! thats all it is at the end of the day to our UK goverment... but these soldiers are people too and having there troubles swept under the carpet for doing their 'job' is not right or acceptable!

  • Why Why WHY are our Brave Warriors being left to suffer this alone?? They have all done their Battles, WHY MUST THEY CONTINUE TO SUFFER?!!!!!!! We lose more & more Brave Warriors to PTSD than anything, ALL our Brave Warriors put their Precious Lives on the line for us, 24/7/365 to ensure YOU AND I can continue to remain living in a FREE Country, Not ALL Injuries are visible, PTSD is a 'Silent Killer' & ALL our Brave Warriors who have this DESERVE the BEST OF CARE NOW NOT LATER !! xxx

  • ALL our Brave Warriors put their Precious Lives on the line for us 24/7/365 to ensure YOU & I can remain living in the Freedom we can ALL take for granted, many come home severely injured, many with the injuries you CAN see, & even more with the ones you CAN'T see, PTSD is 'The Silent Killer' we need & MUST do more to help our Brave Warriors, when they return Home from Tours & they need that help NOW !!! It's the least WE as a Grateful Nation can do to say THANK YOU for ur Service !!!

  • I was in Iraq during Op Telic 4 as a CMT (Combat Med Tech). I wasn't so much effected by what I saw but the hard part came when I got home. Being back in civilian life just felt so petty to me, people where worrying about what felt like petty things to me. People seemed to do the most stupidest things to me. Stupid politics and stuff like that!! It often made me angry and I foten would get very short tempered. I know NOW that was actually a form of PTSD but not at the time.

  • Help for Heroes, i saw their tent at the Bulldog bash bikers rally last week . I think alot about our troops in Afghanistan, here are some thoughts, people who upload vids of fighting should leave out the music, just have the sound at the time. The MOD and media should show more close ups like 0.58, not just fresh troops in clean kit. A connection should be highlighted to Vietnam Vets, a comparable situation when returning home. Figures for returning wounded to be on the news with dead. Goodluck

  • The message in these vids needs to be pushed into the open not under the carpet.

If you use forums, facebook etc post links to them.

Whether you think our troops should be there or not is not important. They are OUR troops. Support them.

Help for Heros site. Visit it.

  • Brilliant videos fella. Really touching, makes you think anyway.

  • Mate Your vids are hoofing!! ALot of heart has gone into to each. Hopefully its get the message across to the ignorant gets in this country.
