Kupuna Day at Keaukaha Elementary

On May 21st, 2008, Keaukaha school held its first annual La Kupuna - Kupuna Day. Aunty Eleanor Ahuna, Aunty Alberta Andaya, Aunty Luella Aina, Uncle Donald Pakele, Uncle Patrick Kahawaiolaa`a, Aunty Wanda Cardines, Aunty Lilinoe Keliipio Young, Aunty LaVerne Pana and Aunty Aloha Bezilla brought forth the history of our Keaukaha community to our 298 students of Keaukaha School.
Our kupuna shared the stories of their growing up in Keaukaha, the games they played and of course life at Keaukaha School over the years!
