Now in it's 4th year, the Giant H.E.R.O.S (Hockey Education Reaching Out Society) Ice Hockey Programme, aims to give young people from different community backgrounds, the opportunity to participate and learn together through this innovative and unique programme. Climaxing in a week long camp when the young people get on the ice with the Belfast Giants twice each day, as well as visits to Stormont Buildings and sessions on DVD production, the programme aims to act as a catalyst for personal and professional development. Created by the young people involved in the programme, this DVD illustrates their improved self awareness, confidence, teamwork, and enhanced respect and understanding of each other. Enjoy!
