thanks for this video, I just bought a slackline but the instructions on how to set it up were almost inextistent so I had to figure it out by myself and after 15min of brainstorming I had my slackline up but it couldn't find out how to release it and that is where your video comes very handy.

@MrKevin671 Sure, any upright structure that it can wrap around works, assuming that it's strong enough to hold the weight. For very slick poles, you may have to run the excess webbing up and over the top of the pole to hold it in place, but otherwise it works just fine.

It's a 1 person setup as shown. The ratchet gives you about a 6:1 mechanical advantage so it's actually pretty easy to rig.
