Live Like We're Dying: [Ultimate Writer's Contest; ROUND 2]

READ HERE, PLEASE! IMPORTANT!

Okay, first off ... I have to say ... I'M FREAKING OUT! Not only did I make it into the second round of the Ultimate Writer's Contest, but Shannon (the creator/UntouchableSS27) also announced I was the Round 1 winner, with the "one-shot that stood out the most", aha xD So, as you can see ... I'm truly honored! So thank you SO MUCH! x]

The task for Round 2 was the make a one-shot based on a song, incorporating lyrics to that specific song into the one-shot. I used the song "Live Like We're Dying" by Kris Allen-- my latest obsession, aha. I used Jemi as the couple, because I think they're cute, but they don't really have relevance to the story. For this contest (I will repeat this ALL the time, aha), the WRITING is what matters.

Anyway, the plot is pretty basic. Joe is a free-spirited, child at heart sort of guy with a loving attitude & big heart. He's a goofball & loves to play & to tease. He was arraigned (meaning, he didn't go to jail) after nearly killing a bookstore owner when he & his friends pulled a prank & broke a fire out to the bookstore. Though arraigned, the judge wanted him to do three hundred community service hours. Demi, however, holds grudges. She throws her hate at anyway who passes her way. So basically, Joe is telling her to live life to its fullest; forget those who stood in your way. Move on, & play life easily. The clock isn't going to wait for you. (Yes, that last line I did make up myself, aha.)
