Here is another of my fan made videos to my now favorite film THE CITY (or LA CIUDAD) set to the song Stand in the Rain by Superchick. It's an uplifting song telling us not to lose hope when the going gets tough and even when everything has failed, still hold your hope.
THE CITY tells the story of five principal characters on their emotionally charged days in New York: Jose, a young but hard working man who wishes he was back home with his family; Francisco and Maria, a couple who meet at a Quinceanera and shortly after he arrived from Mexico; Luis, a street puppeteer and single father who wants the best for his daughter despite living out of his car with her; and Ana, a seamstress worker who must find a way to send $400 home for her daughter who desperately needs an operation.
Of the four characters, you will find Ana's stubbornness ultimately leads her to be the most successful as well as she is the only one of the four to turn to God when she is in desperate need. Even in the most curious of places, as she was on the subway headed home, she prays to him and he doesn't let her down.
I had to alter the song a little bit to fit, otherwise it would've been too short for all four stories, but it works either way, even in my own remix.
I do not own any footage from THE CITY (LA CIUDAD) directed by David Riker or the song "Stand in the Rain" by Superchick.

Thank you! Now are you referring to my own little edit, the movie THE CITY itself or both? I put this up hoping to share this masterpiece with others.
