@tibatfree Hi you can set a studio up for very little and still get good sound, the basics would be a small recorder, a controller keyboard and some VSTis, there are some great free ones out there to try, I have a new channel that goes into all this stuff. head on over and take a look, it may be helpful.

Hello I'm the one that just bought your yamaha n12 which looks awesome and im very happy thanks. I'm just having trouble setting it up. I'm running Cubase 5 on my laptop which is an hp pavilion entertainment pc dv7 vista 64 bit. I've downloaded the new fw drivers and there extensions, and tried the n updater and the IEEE 1394 firmware updater but for some reason I keep getting errors with those ones the n updater says data failure and the IEEE says could not open folder I've read a million for
